Satrahbhedi Puja in Jaipur by Shaharwali singers

Shaharwali singers will perform Satrahbhedi Puja at Shivjiram Bhawan in Jaipur on August 7, 2011, Sunday. Satrah Bhedi Puja is the oldest of all Pujas sang and performed in the present days.  It is worth noted that it is completing its 450 years of composition.

Uapdhyay Sadhukirti, an eminent Jain scholar and saint composed this puja in the year 1561. The exact day falls on August 4. However, Jaipur, Sri Jain Swetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh has chosen nearest Sunday for convenience of the audience.
