President Obama's Diwali Message for Jainism

President Obama, US refers to  Lord Mahavira and the Tirthankaras in a video that you can watch  here:
American President Obama's Diwali Message states:-

"On behalf of the American people ...In Jainism the occasion celebratess the Nirvana of Lord Mahavira, one of a long line of spiritual leaders known for achieving enlightenment by freeing themselves of base human impulses and emotions. ..."

Incidentally in the video at :-
http://www.whitehouse.gov/video/The-President-Observes-Diwali/
Obama refers to Jainism at about 12 minutes and 45 seconds.
Never has an American President spoken so accurately about Jain and Jainism.

I am thankful to Suraj Nowlakha for information.

Thanks,

Bari Kothi- Azimganj

I am thankful to Suraj Nowlakha S/O Shree Vimal Nowlakha, Azimganj for extending his support। He is the first one to provide some mail adresses and a photograph of a portion of present Bari Kothi that I am adding in the site for public View.

Photo: Bari Kothi, Azimganj, Murshidabad.

About Bari Kothi:

Rai Budh Singh Bahadur Dudhoria has founded this house known as Bari Kothi. Navakumar Singh and Jaikumar Singh Dudhoria were their successors followed by Vimal Kumar Singh and Abhoy Kumar Singh Dudhoria. Vimal Kumar singh Dudhoria has breathed his last in Dec. 08. Pradip Kumar (Now in Jaipur) and Sudip Kumar (Kolkata) S/o Vimal Kumar Singh Dudhoria are now the owners of Bari Kothi.

Rai Budh Singh Dudhoria has erected temple and Dharamshala in Teertha Pawapuri and founded schools in Azimganj those are still running.

1. RBSB Primary School

( I, myself, with many other from the Shaharwali society, was the student of both these schools.)
Rai Budh Singh had love for art, craft, gemstones and Jewelry. He patronized artists and collected some wonderful pieces in Gemstones such as emerald, ruby, diamond etc and Kundan Jadau Jewelry.
