The election commisioner of India has announced election for Rajasthan assembly along with some other states e.g. Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jammu & Kashmir.
People of Rajasthan will elect their Government on 4th day of December,2008.
Political parties have tighten their belts to fight.
The ruling party BJP has declared Ms. Vasundhara Raje, the present Chief Minister, as its Chief Ministerial candidate. However the main opposition Indian National Congress has not named any one for the post.
Some other national parties like Samajwadi Party (SP), Bahujan Samajwadi Party (BSP), Communist Party of India (CPI) have also put their candidates.
