Acharya Mahapragya left for his heavenly abode
Acharya Mahapragya, Terapanth had left for his heavenly abode on May 9. He was 90 at the time of his death. He was the tenth Acharya of Jain Swetambar Terapanth Sangh.
He was in Sardarshahar, Rajasthan and breathed his last after a heart attack. Hios funeral was conducted on Monday, May 10, 2010.
Acharya Mahapragya was the successor of Acharya Tulsi. He has started "Preksha Dyan" which became very popular among Jain and non Jains.
Acharya Mahapragya was a renowned scholar. He was author of several hundreds of books and articles.
