Loksabha election results India 2014: BJP moving towards clear majority

BJP is moving towards clear majority in Loksabha election results India 2014 as per present trend. NDA has already crossed three hundred mark and BJP individually is ahead in more than 265 seats. Itis worth noted that a party or an alliance need 272 seats in 543 seats Loksabha to form government with clear majority.

We have close eyes on the trends from the early morning today and graphs of BJP and NDA are upwards continually whereas graphs of Congress and other parties show downwards trend but TMC and AIDMK.

Analyzing the present trend we assume that BJP individually will get absolute majority in the Loksabha securing 272+ seats. If we look statewise BJP is winning all seven seats in Delhi and all 26 in Gujrat. It is winning all five seats in Uttarakhand and all two in Goa. BJP is proceeding towards winning all 25 seats in Rajasthan. However, Congress and others may win one or two seats here.

BJP led NDA has come out as biggest gainers and Congress and JDU as the biggest losers. BJP is doing extremely well in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and  Jharkhand. Biggest surprise is coming from Assam where BJP has come out as biggest party leading 8 seats out of 14. BJP will do much better in West Bengal and Tamilnadu too where its presence is negligible.

Narendra Modi has won Baroda seat and is ahead in Varanasi. Rahul Gandhi has recovered and is now ahead of Smriti Irani, BJP. Kumar Bishwas, AAP has gone to number 4. Ajeet Singh has lost his seat from Bagpat and senior Congress leaders likes of Salman Khursheed, Beniprasad Burma, Kapil Sibbal, Jayprakash Agrawal, Captain Amrinder Singh are loosing their seats according to present trend. Mulayam Singh Yadav is trailing in Ajamgarh seat and Rabdi Devi is trailing behind in Bihar.

It is obvious that India has voted for BJP and Narendra Modi and he will be Prime Minister of India. BJp has been securing highest ever seats in Loksabha and Congress is marginalized. Congress party will be securing lowest ever seats in history of Loksabha elections.

Election results India: Loksabha 2014

Countdown started for Loksabha election results 2014, India. Few hours left of starting vote counting. Indian voters voted with enthusiasm for more than a month. People of India have voted to choose 543 Members of Parliament (MP). These MPs will represent people of their respective constituencies.

Two major National parties BJP and Indian National Congress were contesting this election with their allies. Congress led UPA has been ruling India since last ten years whereas BJP led NDA being the main opposition party. BJP has declared Narendra Bhai Modi, CM, Gujrat, their Prime Ministerial candidate where as Congress had not named any one. However, everybody knows that Rahul Gandhi is the Prime Ministerial candidate for Congress and UPA.

Several other National and regional parties are contesting this election . CPIM led left front and BSP are the main National parties and SP, JDU, RJD, BJD, AGP, AIADMK, DMK, TRS, YSR, JDS, NCP, Shiv Sena, Shiromani Akali Dal, TMC and National Conference are among major regional parties. Some of these parties are allied with Congress to form UPA and some with BJP to form NDA. Several other parties formed the third front and some are contesting independently without any alliance. AAP is a new party contesting almost all seats in India.

There is Modimenia in all over India. There is a strong wave in favor of BJP and Narendra Modi according to various pre-poll and post poll surveys. People of India, at large, has been rejecting congress led UPA, the ruling parties.

BJP is confident of forming new government in the leadership of Narendra Modi as Prime Minister of India. The party have already started thinking process of forming government. However, result has yet to come. The election commission of India is all set to count votes in all 543 parliamentary constituencies and counting will be started at 8 AM, May 16, 2014. We assume that trend will be clear by the afternoon and final result will be out by today evening.

We will be updating Loksabha election results from time to time.

First time in India

First time in India

First time in India

India has voted to elect its new government during last one month. It was unique in many senses. Several things will be happening first time in the history of India.

1. Narendra Modi will become a Member of Parliament (MP, Loksabha).
2. He will be the Prime Minister of India for the first time.
3. BJP led NDA will get clear and absolute majority in Loksabha and form a strong government for the first time.
4. BJP will secure record number of seats and obtain highest ever seats in Loksabha.
5. BJP will win seat in Tamilnadu first time.
6. BJP will secure highest number of seats in West Bengal.
7. Both BJP and NDA will secure highest ever vote percentage in India.
8. BJP will win highest ever Loksabha seats in Rajasthan, Gujrat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Maharashtra, Assam and Jharkhand.
9 Indian National Congress will shrink to double digit first time in India.
10. Talisman of Nehru- Gandhi family will not be working in India first time after 1977.
11. India has already voted with highest ever percentage (Above 68%). First time it has crossed 65% mark.

India is moving with Modi wave whether people accept or deny. All pre-poll and exit poll surveys are of the same opinion. Most of the opinion/ exit polls are predicting 230 to 260 seats for BJP and 260 to 300 seats for NDA. However, I personally feel that the Narendra Modi wave will break all the records and BJP led NDA will get much more Loksabha seats than predicted. This happened several times in India. BJP has got 163 seats in Rajasthan assembly election, 2013 whwere none has predicted more than 125. We have seen similar wave against Lalu Prasad Yadav led RJD when charisma of Nitish Kumar and BJP marginalized RJD. There are several other cases when such incidents happened.

I will not be surprized if NDA will get more than 340 Loksabha seats as predicted by an exit poll.  Let us wait for 36 hours to get this predictions true. The result will be declared on May 16, 2014.

Importance of compulsory voting: Meeting 1352

Gulabi Nagar Vichar Manch organized its 1352 th meeting on 19 April, 2009.

Subject: Importance of compulsory voting
Chief Speaker: Professor Ramesh Arora
Chair: Shree Radheyshyam Dhoot

Professor Ramesh Arora urged for compulsory voting. He told that Indians vote @ 55 to 60 percent in average. There was a 58% polling in the last Loksabha election 2004. That means 42% of the voters did not cast their vote. Youth of India casted their votes even at less percentage than the average. They caste @ 54% only. He argued that this is not a good sign for a democracy.
Video 1
The high profiles, educated and rich class are reluctant to vote. This causes criminals, illiterates and unpopular persons to find themselves in local bodies, assemblies and parliament.
Video 2
He also stated reasons of non voting and urged to make it compulsory. He added that likes of countries Australia, Chili, Singapore, Switzerland, Belgium, Argentina have already constitutional provision for compulsory voting. He supported his arguments with hard data.
Video 3
Dr. Ujala Arora, former minister, Tejkaran Parashar, Bharati, Rampal, Darshan Kothari, Ashok Barhat and Jyoti Kothari have contributed to the discussion.

Presiding dignitary Shree Radheyshyam Dhoot supported the idea and discussed philosophy and Psyche of voting and democracy. He quoted from Ramcharit Manas in support of his philosophy.
