Vidyadhar, a renowned town planner, and architect from Bengal designed the city. The old city is walled and all the buildings are pink. Hence, Jaipur is nicknamed as Pink City. About uncommon Photographs
Huge materials are available in the hub pages and on the web about Jaipur. However, these photographs are different from those available on the net. All these photographs are from my own private collection and none from anywhere else. I have shot all these pictures myself but one with President Bill Clinton.
The pictures in this article reflect religion, society, culture, festival and of course, architect and sculpture of Jaipur. Jaipur is a vibrant city rich with its culture. Large numbers of forts, palaces, and other historical monuments have been attracting indigenous and overseas tourists for centuries. Temples of various religions with beautiful architecture and sculpture are an attraction for both devotees and tourists.
Cultural and religious events and festivals such as Diwali and Makar Sankranti are attractive features of Jaipur. Jaipur wedding ceremonies are also special.
