Chaturmas Pravesh of Sri Vijayprabha Sri Ji at Vichakshan Bhawan

 Chaturmas Pravesh of Sri Vijayprabha Sri Ji occurred at Vichakshan Bhawan on July 10, 2011.
Sri Jain Swetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur organized Pravesh of the reverend sadvi mandal. Procession started from Sri Mahavir Swami temple (Multan mandir) Adarshnagar and reached Vichakshan Bhawan via MD road, Sanganeri gate and Johari Bazar.

Sadhwi Vijayprabha sri ji was accompanied by her elder Pravartini sri Chandraprabhasri ji and other nuns. Hundreds of people from the Sangh were present in the procession. The procession was converted into a Dharmasabha at Shivjiram Bhawan.

Dharmasabha was followed by Sadharmi Vatsalya. .

Online Jain library by Khartar Gachchh Sangh

Sri Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur runs a library containing large number of Jain and other books at Vichakshan Bhawan (2nd floor), opposite to Shivjiram Bhawan. Large number of books are very old and have academic value. These books are truly treasure of knowledge and wisdom. We are in process of providing the books online.

Five persons are engaged in scanning the books. Scanned copies of the books will be available online soon in PDF format. We have collaborated with Digital Library of India to provide these books online.

Scholars, academicians and people at large will be benefited.

Jaipur Khartar Gachchh Sangh launched "Book Bank" for students on Jain New Year

 Sri Jain Swetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur has launched "Book Bank" for students on Jain New Year Day . The book bank will work to facilitate students. Jyoti Kothari, Secretary, Khartar Gachchh Sangh announced this today.


The launching program was organized on the auspices of Sadhwi Sri Sanyamnidhi Sri and Sadhwi Sri Atmanidhi Sri Maharaj. The same was launched at Vichakshan Bhawan just after the  Gautam Ras.


Srimati Kamala Bai Kothari and his sons Sri Abhay Kumar and Sri Akshay Kumar Kothari initially sponsored for the Book Bank in the memory of Late Sri Heerachand Ji Kothari.



Srimati Asha Golechha felicitated Srimati Kamala Bai  and Sri Manak Chand Golechha, Senior Vice President, Khartar Gachchh Sangh felicitated Sri Abhay Kumar Kothari.

Diwali and Gyan Panchami program at Shiv Ji Ram Bhawan

Pujya Sadhwi Sri Sanyamnidhi Sri ji and Atmanidhi Sri Ji will deliver Diwali (Dipavali) pravachan on November 4, 5 and 6 from 9.00 AM onwards at Vichakshan Bhawan.

Dipavali (Deepavali) festival is celebrated in Jainism to worship and celebrate Nirvan Utsav (Salvation) of Lord Mahavira. Hence, it is also called Mahavira Nirvan Utsav.

Nirvan Laddu on the eve of Diwali will be offered at Sri Suparshwanath Jain temple (Panchayati Mandir), Dara, Gheewalon Ka Rasta, Johri Bazar at 5.00 AM on November 7, 2010. The same will be offered at Leeladhar Ji Ka Upasra (Swetambar School) at 5.30 AM.

The program will be followed by Gautam Ras at Vichakshan Bhawan, MSB Ka Rasta, Johri Bazar, Jaipur from 6 AM Onwards.

Gyan Panchami will be celebrated on November 10 at the same place.

Shiv Ji Ram Bhawan and Vichakshan Bhawan

Shiv Ji Ram Bhawan and Vichakshan Bhawan are situated at MSB Ka Rasta, 2nd cross, Johri Bazar, Jaipur. Shiv Ji Ram Bhawan is the official head quarter of Sri Jain Swetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur. The building is named after Shivji Ram Ji Maharaj, a famous Jain saint of 19th century, who breathed his last in Jaipur. There is a large hall in the top floor of Shiv Ji Ram Bhawan that is used for Pravachan and other religious functions. There are few rooms for the stay of Jain tourists (Yatri). A Bhojan shala and a Ayambil shala are also run in the premises.

Vichakshan Bhawan is situated opposite to Shiv Ji Ram Bhawan. It was renovated in 1980 from its older version Imliwali Dharamshala and named after renowned Jain nun Pravartini Sri Vichakshan Sri Ji Maharaj. She had titles like Samata Murti and Jain Kokila. She also breathed her last in Jaipur.

Vichakshan Bhawan is mainly used for the stay of Jain monks and nuns. Daily Samayik, Pratikraman, Swadhyay and Pravachan are also organized at Vichakshan Bhawan. There is a Gyan Bhandar (Old manuscripts) and a library in the top floor of this building.
