Kartik Purnima fair at historic Sanganer temple and Dadabadi

Shri Jain Swetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh has been organizing Kartik Purnima fair at the historic twin temples and Dadabadi at Sanganer on November 10, Friday. This is a regular yearly event of Khartar Sangh. Samuhik Snatra  Puja will be organized at Adinath (Rishabhdev) temple (Near Tripolia gate, bus stand, Sanganer) at 7 AM.

Badi Puja of Dadagurudev will be organized at Sanganer Dadabadi after regular Pakshal Pujan. Dadagurudev Pujan will be followed by Sadharmi Vatsalya (Lunch).

Sri Lakshimal Gautamchand Bothra family, Padmavati group are sponsoring the whole program. All members of Swetambar Jain community are cordially invited in the program.

Newest article about Sanganer Jain temple

 Sanganer is old capital of Kachhawa dynasty who ruled Jaipur later on. The Sanganer town is situated near Jaipur.

There are twin Swetambar Jain temples at Sanganer near Tripolia gate. These are very old and beautiful temples with integrated carvings. main dieties of these temples are Lord Rishabhdev, Adinath and Chandaprabhu.

Pratishtha at Sanganer temple and Dadabadi

 Sri Jain Swetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur organized Pratishtha ceremony at Sanganer twin temples and Dadabadi. Idols of Sri Chandraprabhu and other Tirthankars were re established in Chandaprabhu temple. Idols of Yaksh and Yakshini were also established there in the consoles of Rangamandap.

Idols of Yaksh and Yakshini were also established in the older Adinath Swetambar Jain temple similarly.

There was an idol of Sri Shantinath, 16th Jain Tirthankar placed behind the Dadaguru Charan (Foot print) at Sanganer Dadabadi. The idol has been established in a separate sanctum. There was a Pratishtha of Nakoda Bhairav too. There was a celebration of establishment day of Dadabadi, first time in its 413 years old history.

The Sangh organized three days celebration on the occasion.

Mohanbadi Jain temple, Jaipur: Foundation stone on January 31st

Foundation stone (Shilanyas) of Mohanbadi Jain temple, Jaipur will be laid on January 31st, 2011. Program will be started at 8 AM. Sri Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur is organizing the program in the auspices of Sadhwi Maniprabha Sri Ji et al.

Transportation facilities will be available free of cost from various locations of Jaipur a 7 AM to Mohanbadi. Surendra Guru ji, Bangaluru will conduct all rituals along with Yashwant Golechha, Jaipur. Total nine numbers of foundaion stones will be laid by nine families of Jaipur. Kushalchand, Vimal Chand, Prakash Chand, Kamal Chand, Paras Chand Surana family has the opportunity to laid the first stone. Jatan Kanwar Vikram Kumar Golechha will sponsor the second and the Bordia family the third. An anonimous person has sponsored the fourth Shila. Fifth to ninth Shila are sponsored by Punamchand Chhajed, Prakashchand Chhajed, remchand Dhandhia and Mahgveer Daga families. The ninth Shila (Foundation Stone) is co sponsored by Vimalchand Bhandari and Santoshchand Jharchur families.

Navkarsi (Breakfast) of that day will be sponsored by Trilokchand Singhi family.

Proposed Jain temple, Dadabadi and Dharmashala in Nathmalji Ka Katla, Agra Road, Jaipur

There is a small temple of Lord Adinath, Rishabhdev at Nathmalji Ka Katla, Agra Road, Jaipur near Agrawal college. PP Sadhwi Sri Shashiprabaha Sri ji had continually been motivating and encouraging to build a new and big temple along with a Dadabadi in place of a small temple. She had approached Khartar Gachchh Sangh several times in the last few years to do so. However, the proposal was not finalyzed.

The Sangh had decided in its AGM to build a new temple, Dadabadi and Dharmashala and authorized the executive committee to do the needful. Executive committee of the Sangh met on January 3 and informed Shashiprabha Sri Ji Maharaj of its intention of building the new temple along with dadabadi and Dharmashala. Executive committee has approached her to provide with detailed plan and elevation of the same.

We believe that the work will be started soon and completed with in short period.

Unique and Grand new Jain temple in Jaipur



Jaipur, Rajasthan, India, November 28, 2010

Khartar Gachchh Sangh of Jaipur have decided to build and develop an Unique and Grand new  Jain temple at Mohanbadi in Jaipur. Executive committee of the Sangh have decided to build an unique temple of Lord Rishabhdev, Adinath.

Sri Kushal Chand Surana, former President of Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur is convener and Sri Vimal Chand Surana is a member of construction committee of the Jain temple. Construction of the temple will be guided by Pranimitra Sri Kumarpal V Shah, Dholka.

"Bhumipujan" ceremony of the Jain temple will be held on December 8, 2010 on the auspices of sadhwi Sri Maniprabha Sri Ji Maharaj. Mrs. Amar Kumari Surana will conduct the Bhumipujan.

Mohanbadi is situated in Delhi - Mumbai highway near Galta. Several other temples, Dadabadi and Samadhi  situated in Mohanbadi makes it a center of pilgrimage. A Dharamshala with State of art facilities is being build in Mohanbadi for convenience of he pilgrims.

Pungalia temple anniversary in Jaipur

Pungalia temple situated near Railway station, Jaipur is a century old temple built by the Pungalia family. This temple is dedicated to the main deity Rishabhdev alias Adinath, the first Tirthankar. The Jain temple has beautiful wall paintings worth visit. The temple is built with environment friendly green way.

There is a Dadabadi inside the temple campus along with a Dharmashala. The Pungalia family organize Satraha Bhedi Puja every year on the eve of anniversary of the temple. Sri Shantichand Vimalchand Padamchand Pungalia family hosted anniversary program this year on January 27, 2010.

Jagdish Sharma, a renowned Indian classical singer sang the Puja. Jain Vidhikarak Yashwant Golechha, Manakchand Golechha and Jyoti Kothari accompanied Jagdish Sharma in singing the classical devotional songs of सत्रह भेदी पूजा. Premchand Shrishrimal was the Vidhikarak of the Puja.Hundreds of devotees took part in this devotional program.

Pungalia family hosted for tea and snacks after completion of the program.

Mahavira Swami Jain Temple in Kolkata

Sri Mahavira Swami Jain temple was established in 1868, just after one year of erection of famous Parasnath Glass temple in a near vicinity. Sukhlal Johari of Johari Sath community established this beautiful temple with huge court yard at 27, Badridas Temple street, Kolkata. The temple is situated beside Dadabadi. The temple is mainly built with ceramic tyles in British style. A large sized bell is placed in the temple depicting Portuguese style.

There are three "Gambhara"s in the temple. Mahavira Swami is the main diety in Mulagambhara. Six more idols of Jain Tirthankara are also well placed there. Tirthankar Adinath or Rshabhadev is the Mulanayaka of the Gambhara situated at right side of the Mulagambhara. Gautam Swami and Parshwa Padmavati idols are also erected there with some other Tirthankar idols. A recently built Gambhara (Left side) is dedicated to Dadaguru Deva.
Smt. Putul Kothari W/o Samarendrapat Kothari (Great grand daughter of Sukhlal Johari) and her sons Birendra Kothari, Pradip Kothari, Rajkumar Kothari and Rajesh Kothari are managing the temple.
