Dhwaja and varshikotsav at Leeladharji Ka Upasra temple

 Sri Jain Swetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh organized Mahavir Swami puja at the Mahavira Swami temple, Leeladharji Ka upasra, Swetambar school, Gheewalon ka rasta, Johri Bazar, Jaipur 302003 on December 4, 2011. The puja was organized on the eve of Dhwaja arohan and varshikotsav.

Sri Manak Chand Golechha, President, Jyoti Kothari, secretary, Sri Navratanmal Shrishrimal were among attendees.


Jain Swetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh will organize a ceremony on the eve of Pravartini Sri Sajjan Sri Ji maharaj punya tithi at Sajjan Smarak, Mohanbadi on December 7, 2011. The program will include Puja followed by sadharmi vatsalya. Sri Paras Ji Golechha and family are sponsoring the program.

Puja on the auspieces of Shikhar Chand Pungalia

 Renowned Jeweler Shikhar Chand Pungalia expired on May 01, 2010.  His family offered "Antaray Karma Nivaran Puja" today at Pungalia temple, station road, Jaipur. Pungalia temple was built by the ancestors opf late Sri Shikhar Chand Pungalia a century back.

It is to be worth noted that he was the proprietor of "Sobhagmul Gokulchand". His son Shirish Pugalia is in diamond business and living in Mumbai.

Old Jain idols in Bikaner brought out for Darshan and Puja

Old Jain idols kept underground for centuries at Chinatamani Parasnath temple in Bikaner, Rajasthan are brought out for Darshan and Puja. The temple trustees have decided to bring all these 1100 Prachin Jain Tirthankara Pratima for public viewing and worship.

Most of these Jain idols are Panch Tirthi and made of Panch Dhatu. Some of these idols are of Marble and one is of rock crystal (Sfatik Ratna). These idols were kept underground since Mogul period to save them from Muslim invaders.

Bikaner Jain Samaj has organized Dasanhika Mahotsava to celebrate this event between January 31 and February 10, 2010. Thousands of devotees from all over India and overseas have been coming to visit, view and worship those old idols.

Bikaner is a major Jain district with 35 Jain temples. Chintamani Parasnath, Bhanda Shah, Neminath and Adinath temples are the most famous Jain temples in Bikaner.

Pungalia temple anniversary in Jaipur

Pungalia temple situated near Railway station, Jaipur is a century old temple built by the Pungalia family. This temple is dedicated to the main deity Rishabhdev alias Adinath, the first Tirthankar. The Jain temple has beautiful wall paintings worth visit. The temple is built with environment friendly green way.

There is a Dadabadi inside the temple campus along with a Dharmashala. The Pungalia family organize Satraha Bhedi Puja every year on the eve of anniversary of the temple. Sri Shantichand Vimalchand Padamchand Pungalia family hosted anniversary program this year on January 27, 2010.

Jagdish Sharma, a renowned Indian classical singer sang the Puja. Jain Vidhikarak Yashwant Golechha, Manakchand Golechha and Jyoti Kothari accompanied Jagdish Sharma in singing the classical devotional songs of सत्रह भेदी पूजा. Premchand Shrishrimal was the Vidhikarak of the Puja.Hundreds of devotees took part in this devotional program.

Pungalia family hosted for tea and snacks after completion of the program.

Shilanyas (Shila Sthapna) at Azimganj Dadabadi

Azimganj Sri Sangh organize programm of Shilanyas (Shila Sthapna) at Azimganj Dadabadi on December 3, 2009. Shila Sthapna (Laying foundation stone) ceremony will be conducted in the auspices of Sadhwi Shashiprabha Shri ji.

Sona Chand Baid of Azimganj will laid  the main  foundation stone in the center. There will be eight more foundation stones to be laid in four sides and four angles.

Anil Choraria, Uttam Kumar Golechha, Sanjeev Nakhat, Bhupal Chand Rekhawat, Kishor Kumar Nowlakha, Nirmal Chand Choradia, Shashi Nowlakha and Dhanpat Singh Dugar families will laid these eight foundation stones. They are doing these in memory of their forefathers.

Shilanyas (laying foundation stone) will be at 7.30 AM on December 3, 2009 followed by Dadaguru Puja at 11.30 and Sadharmi Vatsalya (Lunch) hosted by Sona Chand Baid.
