Pratishtha: Jin Dutt Suri Dadabadi, Dholka

 Dholka, 38 KM from Ahmadabad is the birth place of first Dadagurudev Sri Jin Dutt Suri. Jin Dutt Suri was a renowned saint possessing rare qualities and virtues of an Acharya. He was Yugapradhan. First Dadaguru is being remembered by his millions of devotees worldwide even after eight centuries passed his death.Jain community especially Khartar Gachchh worship Dadaguru with dedication and devotion.

Dholka is also renowned for Jain pilgrimage center Kalikund Parasnath. There is a big temple of Kalikund Parshwanath at Dholka. There is a Dadabadi opposite to Kalikund Parasnath temple which is rebuilt. Pratishtha ceremony will take place between February 3 and 6, 2012 at the new premises. Large numbers of Khartar Gachchh Sadhu (Monks) and Sadhwi (Nuns) including Sri Kushal Muni, Muni Sri Mahendrasagar and Sadhwi Sri Maniprabha Sri will be present with their disciples during pratishtha ceremony.

Paush Dasami festival in Mohanbadi on December 30, 2010

Paush Dasami festival will be observed in Mohanbadi on Thursday, December 30, 2010. Paush Dasami is the birth day or Janma Kalyanak of Lord Parasnath, twenty third Tirthankar. Purushadaniya Parshwanath swami was born in Varanasi some 2900 years back.


Parshwanath Panch Kalyanak Puja will be conducted in Sanwalia Parasnath temple at Mohanbadi at 1.00 PM in the afternoon. The puja will be followed by a procession which will include elephants, horses, musical band. The devotees will carry lord Parasnath on their shoulders in a palenqueen (Palki). The procession will start at 3.30 PM from Mohanbadi, Galta Road and will reach Sri Suparshwanath Jain temple (Panchayati Mandir) at Dada market, Gheewalon ka rasta, Johari Bazar, Jaipur, passing through Surajpole gate, Ramganj Choupad,  Badi Choupad.and Johari Bazar.

There will be a ceremonial "Arati" at Panchayati mandir on the eve of reaching procession (Julush / Barghoda).

Paush Dashmi Festival in Jaipur

Paush Dashmi is the birth date of Lord Parshwanath commonly known as Parasnath, 23rd Tithankar of Jain. Jain community all over India observe birth day of their Tirthankar with great enthusiasm.

 
Jain offer Puja in various temples. Ceremony was organized in Deraur Parasnath temple with a Puja. Vidhikarak Yashwant Golechha conducted Puja.  Puja was followed by a Sadharmi Vatsalya.

A Barghoda (Procession) is traditionally brought from Mohanbadi Sanwalia Parasnath Temple to Panchayati Mandir in Johri Bazar.

This video is about a traditional procession (Barghoda or Julush) from Mohanbadi to Suparshwanath Jain temple in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The procession starts from Mohanbadi, an old Jain temple and Dadabadi and progresses thorugh Ramganj and Manak Choupad to Johari Bazar. It enters in to the streets of Johri Bazar and reach Suparshwanath Jain temple in Dada, Gheewalon Ka Rasta via Vichakshan Bhawan.
People welcome the procession there and worship Lord Parshwanath (Parasnath) with Bhajan, Arati and Mangal Dipak.
